Two Small-Town Virginians Who Found Home in Alaska

Our story began in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, but somehow, life carried us thousands of miles north—and somewhere along the way, Alaska became home.

I'm Jordan, and together with my husband, Adam, and our three four-legged adventure buddies—Little Texas (Tex), Glacier (Glace), and Kodiak (Kodi)—we're the family behind 907 Heaven.

These pages are our way of sharing a little piece of the life we've built in Interior Alaska.

You'll find us exploring back roads, chasing beautiful views, cooking meals worth coming home for, discovering new places, enjoying our favorite hobbies, and occasionally learning things the hard way. We'll share the breathtaking moments right alongside the muddy, freezing, imperfect, and downright hilarious ones—because that's part of living here, too.

We'll also share what we've learned from calling the Last Frontier home: practical advice for visiting Alaska, things we wish we'd known sooner, places worth exploring, seasonal activities, safety tips, and a glimpse into what everyday life is really like in a place where winter can be fierce, summer days seem almost endless, and the Northern Lights can dance right outside your front door.

It's about sharing our Alaska with you—the places we love, the memories we're making, the photographs and stories we've collected along the way, and the little moments that made two kids from the mountains of Virginia realize they'd somehow found home thousands of miles away.
